AN APPROXIMATE SOLUTION OF θ-BASED RICHARDS’ EQUATION BY COMBINATION OF NEW INTEGRAL TRANSFORM AND HOMOTOPY PERTURBATION METHOD
Abstract
In this paper, we apply the mixture of new integral transform and homotopy perturbation method (NITHPM) to solve Richards’ equation. This method is a mixture of new integral transform method and homotopy perturbation method. The nonlinear term can be easily handled by homotopy perturbation method. Some cases of the Richards’ equation are solved as examples to illustrate ability and reliability of mixture of new integral transform and homotopy perturbation method. The results reveal that this method is quite capable, practically will appropriate for use in such problems and can be applied to other nonlinear problems. This method is seen as a better alternative method to some existing techniques for such realistic problems.Downloads
