A Five-Step Extended Block Backward Differentiation Formula For Solutions Of Semi-Explicit Index-1 Dae Systems
A five-step Extended Block Backward Differentiation Formulae (EBBDF) for the solutions of semi-explicit index-1 systems of Differential Algebraic Equations (DAEs) is presented. The processes compute the solutions of DAEs in a block by block fashion by some discrete schemes obtained from the associated continuous scheme which are combined and implemented as a set of block formulae. Numerical results revealed this method to be efficient and very accurate, and particularly suitable for semi implicit index one DAEs.
